Changing a vehicle’s engine oil is high priority, but a lot is demanded of your oil in between routine changes and it can use extra help.

Stephen Joyce, President of Molyslip (Canada) Inc. says, “Molyslip E provides a protective film of molybdenum disulfide (moly) on those metal surfaces and combats power- and energy-robbing friction and wear. It helps components last longer, stay cooler and use less fuel to power your vehicle than oil alone.”

E does not change the chemical make-up of the oil but it uses your oil as a transportation system to deliver molybdenum disulfide to the internal components; which it plates onto and helps reduce friction and wear.

Engine oil serves three main functions.

It cleans: oil moves impurities away from critical components and traps them in the oil filter.
.

It cools: oil moves past very hot metal surfaces, absorbs a portion of the heat, and then moves that heat away as it travels to the oil pan where it is cooled.
.

It lubricates: oil’s most critical function is providing a very thin dynamic (fluid) film between various pieces of metal that are moving past each other at extremely high rates of speed. The thin film of oil is all that is keeping those pieces of metal (piston & cylinder wall, bearing and crankshaft, cam lobe and valve stem, etc.) from rubbing against each other and creating friction and wear.

That is a lot to ask of any liquid. It’s also why adding Molyslip E Oil Supplement, along with regular oil changes; is something you can do to improve your engine’s performance between oil changes.

About Molyslip (Canada) Inc. Molyslip brand lubricants provide a proven formula of molybdenum-based products to reduce wear, increase component life, and increase performance. As part of an ongoing maintenance program, Molyslip brand lubricants significantly reduce maintenance costs, overhauls and down time. Molyslip (Canada) Inc. is 100% Canadian owned. Molyslip E is available through all Home Hardware stores across Canada (HH part# 8641-106), from AutoSense and Uni-Select members throughout Canada, at Lordco in B.C. and at select NAPA stores.
